In Developer’s options,
OEM unlock,
Allow bootloader unlock.
Then, your “fastboot oem unlock” should work

I add that it was’nt a iPlay 40H , but I think it’s not relevant.

It happenned to me once, as the battery had been completely dried.
I thought my device was dead. But, after maybe 20 hours of charge (I don’t remember), it went back.
Beware that it must be properly switched off : keep pressing “power” for 10-15 seconds.

I did try on a M5X, and surprisingly, it worked.
Everything seems to be alright, but I wont use it that way until officiel confirmation, since nowhere on earth it is said that it works
