Iplay 40 Pro FLAC files

Hi there,
I own a Iplay 40  Pro.  The specs tell me that it should be able to play .flac  audio files.
But when I try to play them it says it misses codecs.

My tablet runs on Android 11, and I have tried different apps to play .flac files.  I have tried VLC Player, MediaMonkey Pro and Kodi

Any ideas how to fix this ?  is this an Android 11 problem, a Iplay 40 problem, a setting ????
