Unlocking the bootloader of iplay60 mini turbo

Hello friends,

I have purchased an Alldocube iPlay60 mini turbo tablet, great device!

However the bootloader is locked and i can’t find a way to unlock it.

I have tried the usual method: enabled “oem unlocking” in developpers options, rebooted to bootloader, tried the commands:

“fastboot flashing unlock”

“fastboot oem unlock

“fastboot flashing unlock_critical”

“fastboot flashing get_unlock_ability”

but every time i receive this error message:

FAILED (remote: ‘unknown command’)

I would like to use a GSI image on this device but i cannot because the bootloader is locked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I got a reply from Alldocube support on facebook:

 

“This device’s bootloader is locked and cannot be unlocked, as a hardware-level fuse mechanism has been implemented. Please use the official OTA update for upgrading.”

 

So unfortunately this doesn’t seem possible.
