I am remotely helping my sister set up her new Alldocube tablet. Through Google, she has managed to transfer some of her data from her iPhone. Now, she is at the stage of “Finish setting up your iPlay_50… Just a few more steps.”
The next screen is a number keyboard with “Emergency call’ in turquoise at the bottom). Tapping the “Emergency call” button initiates a call to 911. Entering a loved one’s number provides a message: “This is not an emergency number.”
She cannot use the tablet; turning it off and on results in this setup stage and is forcing her to call 911. The tablet cannot be used. She has no desire to use the tablet for emergency communications; she just wants a tablet for access to the web and Android applications.
We are stuck, please help.
