I just got my Alldocube today and I can’t update the Android software. It says it is paused and won’t release even after restarting to tablet.

    Hi all.

I’m not really expecting a response here – just wanted to make note of my recent upgrade experience.

Upgrading to iPlay50(T1030)_EN_20230801 went well – and the tablet seems to be a bit snappier – wifi is a touch faster. Everything works ok for me.

    Except:

It used to charge from a spare USBA port on my bedside clock – after the upgrade, the clock does not seem to be able to charge it and i have to use a USBC charger instead.

I’d speculate that the improved performance comes at the expense of battery life….

Why don’t you release the update to android 13 or are you kind enough to update it to android 14? And why don’t you update Netflix L1? The hardware supports it very easily, but the software doesn’t support it. I think it will make a difference to your product from other cheap tablets. If you care about software updates.

I saw that I play 50 2023 T618 comes with android 13 and supports Netflix L1. It says you guys can do it with I play 50 pro G99 but you guys won’t do it.

TK – i’ve just done the iPlay50(T1030)_EN_20230801 update and it is Android 13.

I did lose all my data, but the process is easy, and i have everything backed up anyway.

See my previous comment above about charging.

    Hello,

where do I get the boot.img file for rooting the iPlay50?

    Thanks and regards

Don’t you need to unlock the bootloader first?  How have you gone about doing that?

My understanding is that Magisk should work to root (once the bootloader is unlocked).  Just download the PAC file and use the software to extract the boot.img.

Is this the “T1030-EU” device, sold at https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0BKT41B5S/ or is the “T1030” a different device? If so, then please link me to the correct page.

    Thanks.

This last firmware is only EN or is multilanguage ?

    |
  • Does an image name ending with .T indicate that it is a test version? After flashing the latest version 20230801.T, Google Play shows  device is not certified.

Mine shows the same…. I can guess is that it has to do with the fact that our last Android security update is as of March 5th, 2023, despite the Google Play system update saying October 1, 2023.  Alldocube has updated the version of Android, but not kept up with the security updates.

Hello, can i use the last firmware for updating my iplay 50 (t618) running Android 12 ?

Possible to use spreadtrum upgrade tool ?

I need to unlock bootloader ?

I think our best bet to unlock the bootloader is using this (https://github.com/TomKing062/CVE-2022-38694_unlock_bootloader), although I have not personally tried it yet.
