Can anyone please confirm the report below that when upgrading to Android 13, the serial number gets reported as 123456… instead of the real one, and that also the IMEI numbers are correct?, it’s what’s holding me back from upgrading. Also, is web browsing and general operation smoother with A13?, with 12 complex webs with Chrome can be a bit laggy, but all games that i tested run pretty smooth.

So, are there any real advantages upgrading this tablet to Android 13 as of today?.

no, it’s not there. There is no *.auth file anywhere!!

Secondly, please give instructions for how to BACKUP the tablet, BEFORE flashing a new ROM. Thanks.

Dear Commentators!
After the update to Android 13, I couldn’t find the IMEI numbers,
I just got an “unknown” message. Unfortunately, I didn’t write down
the IMEI numbers before installation.
If anyone knows how I can get them back please help me.

  Hi, probably you have formatted nvram and/or nvdata by mistake, which is where that information should be stored in mediatek devices.
  
  If you made a backup before flashing, you may be able to flash them back, if not I guess you’ll need to find another solution.

  Mindent úgy csinálták, ahogy le van írva? A letöltött firmwaret az sp flash 6-os verziójával letöltés kapcsolóval írtad rá a tabletre? Nem szedtél ki semmilyen pipát? Igazából nem írhat bele abba területbe ahol az IMEI-k tárolódnak, annak a felülírására másik szoftver való. Nem tudod vissza tenni az előző firmwaret? Ez az én félelmem is, ezért nem mertem még feltenni, vártam mások tapasztalatát…

    The problem is solved. After many attempts, I flashed the latest android 12 firmware
    using Smart Phone Flash Tool v6.Setup: auth_sv5.auth and flash.xml with
    “format all+download” mode. After finishing, I turned on the tablet,
    but there were no IMEI numbers.
    I turned off my tablet and installed the Android 13 firmware with the flash tool
    with the following settings: auth_sv5.auth and flash.xml with the
    “firmware upgrade” mode.
    And miraculously, the two IMEI numbers also appeared in the settings.
    I hope this was the correct procedure. Since I didn’t have a backup,
    I couldn’t check their correctness But Google is my “friend”.

    with the v6 version of the flash tool, in this way: I loaded the auth_sv5.auth
    and flash.xml files and flashed firmware with “format all+download” mode.
    There were no IMEI numbers during the settings. I turned off the tablet and loaded
    the Android 13 firmware as follows:
    I loaded the auth_sv5.auth and flash .xml files again, but now I chose the
    “firmware upgrade” mode. After the successful campaign, and miraculously, the two IMEI numbers also appeared in the settings. I hope this was the correct procedure. Since I didn’t have a backup,

      Majd a telefon szolgáltató eldönti. Ha tudsz rajta telefonálni és van mobilnet akkor jó az IMEI.
      
      Én úgy tudtam a firmware upgrade mód akkor kell, ha update telepítést csinálsz, akkor nem vesznek el az adatok és már telepitett dolgok. De az Alldocube teljes üres firmware-t ad, így minden korábbi beállítás elvész.
      
      Annyira kevés és ellentmondó információ van, hogy nehéz kihámozni mi a valóság. Ha meg már megvan a baj, akkor már ugye késő okoskodni…

Кто будет обновляться. Основные косяки вроде как исправили. Исправили ошибку с добавлением альтернативного лаунчером. Стоковый такой же кусок г.. Погода не работает как и альтернативные настройки. Перенесли часть расширенных настроек в другие разделы. Управление жестами не пробовал. Стоковый лаунчер г.., а альтернативный не поддерживает. В целом прошивка понравилась если не считать то, что сам планшет г.. по сравнению с 40 и 30 серией.

После обновления все данные удаляться.

I bought a tablet machine like this for Christmas for my children. I wanted to put iPlay50Pro(T1030M)_EN_20230907T FW on it. I did everything as described. The green tick appeared, but the tablet went into a boot loop. What can I do?

      No authentication file is required.
      Only XML is fine.
      I succeeded.
      It will boot loop, so please upgrade the firmware.

        Thanks for the info, I’ve just bought the tablet and I was waiting to see if a new OTA update that goes from Android 12 to 13 is released, so I can preserve the data, but I guess that probably it won’t.
        
        So, can you please confirm what you changed from the defaults :
        
        -Firmware upgrade instead of download
        
        -Did you uncheck the preloader, as recommended, to avoid bricking the device in case of failure flashing?.

        I removed the preloader.bin first, but it didn’t work.
