– pretty straight-forward upgrade via a PC and USB cable

– but do a backup to the Google cloud before as the upgrade wipes everything and the tablet comes out clean

– IT STILL DOES NOT FIX THE WIFI BUG THAT CALLS FOR A PASSWORD ALL THE TIME which makes this beautiful tablet a piece of junk, unfortunately (using a Netgear Orbi mesh network)

this is cumbersome! how about to those people who has no pc to flash theirs and can only update through OTA. i guess this is the cons of having a low cost tablets then…

  Really dude ? Theres a pc every 10 meters in this world – even in 3rd world countries. ^^ Something else to complain ? Is the weather not to your liking ? Jesus … ^^ Be glad they actually updated something at all – thats not certain when it comes to cheap china devices.

est en fait la version T1020H_V1.0_20210909 !
qui ne corrige ni les BUGS du GPS ni ceux de le deconnexion du wifi !!

je regrette d’avoir acheté cette tablette qui ne me sert a rien !!

Is this going to fix the wifi drop outs with password error/not auto reconnect, or improve the scale the brightness slider has? The 40H wifi and brightness slider distribution level is pitiful compared to the 30pro

  The password error is mainly down to the random MAC address security setting. See the WiFi settings for that option. Usually your access point will reject any login with unknown MAC addresses.

    That’s one of the first things I tried in Dec 2021 and it didn’t help. So far the only thing that has helped is restricting iplay 40H to 2.4ghz, preventing 5ghz wifi connection. Because random MAC or not, the iplay 40H drops 5ghs wifi like a hot potato.
    Meanwhile my iplay 30pro will hold a 5ghz connection with a random MA -or is it drops out will switch itself to 2.4ghz without a password prompt, so that isn;t the issue.

The update says it is finished but it stays on version T1020H_V1.0_20210909 instead of 20210911. Also it completely wipes the user memory which is not very kind.

Hello, is there someone who can help me I want to update it to this version but there is no way my tablet disconnects when it is going to do the update process returning to the same official firmware I do not know when alldocube will take it out by OTA but if it is here they should take it out no longer What are you waiting for if the alldocube support see my message, I would appreciate it a lot if they would take it out, please let it be as soon as possible
